CUCKOO: Taproom & Bottleshop is a contemporary abstract art piece from the minds of Joel Barnard and George Felicity Rockey. A satirical exhibition of the modern drinking scene and the rise of 'craft beer'.

"We originally opened as a quaint and unassuming coffee shop, a sort of mum and pop business was what we had in mind", muses Barnard, manager and founder of the now Exeter Institution, "but people kept asking for hops and bourbon aged 15% stouts, so we pivoted".

CUCKOO was established in 2021 and is a household name for any self-respecting beer enthusiast and lovers of community-driven wholesome fun who also live in the Devon area.
